prof. Isabel Fernández Torres is currently full-time Professor of Commercial Law at the Law Faculty, Universidad Complutense (Madrid) since 2004, where she teaches Company Law, Insolvency Law and Capital Markets Law. She is currently Secretary General at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (October 2019) and was Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations (2015-2019).
Having graduated from the Faculty of Law, University Complutense (Licenciada, LLM and Phd 2003), she was a research fellow at the European Court of Justice (Luxembourg), Paris II and Toulouse Ut1.
Isabel Fernández Torres has published three monographs and more than 40 articles.
Lecturer in several national and international Congresses and Seminars. At Harvard University, Oporto, Toulouse (visiting research prof), Leiden, Puerto Rico at International level.
Member of the Editorial Board of the Spanish Journal of Banking and Capital Markets (RDBB, Spanish acronym).
