The Fattal Prize for Excellence in Legal Research for 2022 will be awarded for research in the field of International Law, including Public International Law. The Law of Armed Conflict, International Humanitarian Law, Private International Law, Transnational Law, International Trade Law, International Economic Law, International Treaties, International Criminal Law, International Tribunals, International Environmental Law.

The Faculty of Law at the University of Haifa is proud to announce its annual Attorney Yosef Fattal Memorial Prize for Excellence in Legal Research. The annual prize awards 30,000 NIS to an outstanding Israeli scholar, in a legal field to be chosen by the Prize Committee.

The Prize Committee will accept nominations for candidates in accordance with the following instructions:

Nominations must have the support of three senior legal scholars (from Israel or abroad) and be accompanied by reference letters explaining the unique research excellence justifying awarding the Prize to the candidate. The Prize Committee will not accept self-nominations. The nomination must be accompanied by the candidate’s resume and an up-to-date list of professional publications, in addition to the reference letters. Scholars may recommend one candidate only.
