גד ברזילי

פרופ’ גד ברזילי ז”ל

גד (גדי) ברזילי (11 בינואר 1958 – 10 באפריל 2023) היה משפטן, עורך דין ואיש מדע המדינה. פרופסור מן המניין למשפטים בפקולטה למשפטים שבאוניברסיטת חיפה. פרופסור אמריטוס למשפט וחברה, משפט השוואתי ולימודים בינלאומיים באוניברסיטת וושינגטון. כיהן בעבר כדקאן הפקולטה למשפטים (2012–2017) וכמשנה לרקטור וראש בית הספר הבינלאומי (2016–2019), באוניברסיטת חיפה. כן כיהן כיו”ר הוועד הארצי של דקאני הפקולטות למשפטים בישראל (2014–2017). ביוני 2021 נבחר לנשיא האגודה הישראלית למדע המדינה (2021–2024). היה חתן פרס חשין למצוינות אקדמית במשפט (2022) וחתן פרס רקטור אוניברסיטת חיפה לחוקר הבכיר המצטיין באוניברסיטה לשנת 2022.
