Maryam Pourrahim is a PhD candidate in a joint program at the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands, and the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. Interested in IP, competition law and technologies, Maryam Pursues her doctoral thesis on the Standard Essential Patents under the UE and US antitrust laws. She completed an LLM in international and European commercial and economic law at the University of Lausanne, achieved her master’s in international commercial law and her bachelor’s in judiciary law from the University of Tehran, Iran.
