During Gender Equality month and in alignment with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, we held a special presentation on the state of women’s rights in Israel, led by University of Haifa Professor of Law and founding co-Director of the Forum for Gender, Law, and Policy, Dr. Noya Rimalt. Dr. Rimalt discusses the changing landscape of feminist legal research in Israel and highlight the Forum’s work on abortion and reproductive rights in informing Israeli public policy and encouraging community outreach. Dr. Pnina Lahav, Professor of Law at Boston University, joined for a special introduction and concluding comments.
