Prof. Hagit Lernau

Prof. Hagit Lernau has been serving as the Head of the School of Criminology since Augost 2025.  She joined the school's faculty in 2023, following a 17-year tenure as the Deputy National Public Defender.

Prof. Lernau holds bachelor's degrees in Philosophy (1992) and Law (1997), and earned her master's and doctoral degrees in Criminology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2003).
