The legal feminism clinic gives legal aid to survivors of sexual assault and rape, including helping them access various entitlements .One entitlement that many victims are unaware of is social security benefits that they are eligible for if the trauma has made them unable to function and work. After taking care of tens of these cases over the years the clinic created an information page in simplified language explaining all there is to know about this procedure. The information page was completed several months ago, but last week it was finally uploaded by the social security institute to its website! This endorsement is important and will help many women and men receive this much needed aid.
