Bar Shoham is a lawyer and social worker, holding a dual bachelor’s degree in Law and Social Work from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a master’s degree in Law from the MOSA Fellows Program (Emile Zola Chair and the Van Leer Institute).
At the beginning of her career, she served as a coordinator in the legal department of the Movement for Quality Government, and later interned in the civil division of the State Attorney’s Office. After being certified as a lawyer, she served as a legal assistant at the National Labor Court and as a prosecutor in the Central District Attorney’s Office (Civil Division), specializing in tort and commercial law.
Since 2025, Bar has been leading the Clinic for Legal Aid in Times of War, established in response to the events of October 7, 2023.
