Sagi Luuk, Stockholm University Law School

As part of the university exchange program, I attended a semester at Stockholm University Law School. Thousands of students from around the world take part in the project, so this is an extraordinary experience, both on the personal level - many trips and social activities, and from the professional aspect - improving English and studying foreign legal fields. During the program, we received close guidance from the administrative staff of the host university, and at the same time, assisted in any problem from the staff in Israel. The exchange program at Stockholm University is one of the largest in the world, well invested and suitable for students who do not speak native English, so I strongly recommend taking part in the program".

The university is located 10 minutes drive from the sea, the weather in the area is tropical (there are surprising rains and then it gets sunny and warm again). On the way to class I would pass by a lake every day with ducks, squirrels and iguanas, which is an attraction in itself for a living nature lover like me. I studied law, so all my classrooms where in a long boulevard surrounded by classrooms, a library, Beit Hillel (where I found my Israeli friends), Starbucks and Sinholic that I still miss their cinnamon pastries.
The studies required a lot from me. Most of my lecturers were fair and considerate that I was a Foreign student..

''Ever dreamt of watching sunrise at the beach and sunset on a mountain (or the other way around)? It is all possible when you study at Haifa University. My stay as a foreign student there was great and I enjoyed some of the best moments of my life in Haifa. The staff at Haifa University (teaching and non-teaching) is truly the best. They made sure everyone feels safe and at home; you can ask for anything you need and they will help. Local students (both Israeli's and Arabs) are very warm and proud to share their culture. As Arnold puts it: I'll be back.''

I really enjoyed the program and I would definitely repeat it - highly recommend to anyone considering. Switzerland is a peacefull, tidy and beautiful country (there are two fun tours like to Geneva and Strasbourg).
The biggest bonus of the program is the huge variety of people who come from so many countries: Namibia, China, USA, Qatar and many more. The studies themselves are interesting and deal with global human rights issues, which unfortunately, in Israel do not get much exposure and of course there are elective courses that can focus on a specific area of interest. In terms of load, the schedule of an average Israeli student in Israel is busier than the schedule in the program. The highlights of the program are a staged trial that takes place in front of a panel of experts. It's a must for every jurists.
