Shubhangi Heda is a technology and media policy researcher with a graduate degree in law and a master’s degree in public policy with a specialization in media and technology policy. She is currently pursuing her PhD from the Queensland University of Technology. She works on a plethora of issues related to the digital economy including data protection, anti-trust/competition, data governance, technology and society, content regulation and censorship. Her research focus is on developing economies and countries in the global south. She has also previously worked at the Centre for Competition, Investment and Economic Regulation of CUTS International in India.
