Thomas Tombal

Thomas Tombal is a doctoral candidate and researcher at the CRIDS (Centre de Recherche Information, Droit et Société) and the Law Faculty of the University of Namur, where he is writing a PhD in ICT law on the topic “Balancing rights on data and data access”. His doctoral research focuses mainly on data protection, competition law and IP issues. Thomas obtained a Master’s Degree in Law (Université Catholique de Louvain) – during which he carried out an Erasmus at Trinity College in Dublin –, and a Complementary Master’s Degree in ICT Law (University of Namur).
