Xingyu Yan is a postdoctoral researcher at Guanghua Law School, Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. He was awarded his doctorate from the University of Groningen in 2019, after successfully defending his thesis “Theories of harm on abuse of dominance: A Sino-EU comparative analysis of the impact of institutional dynamics on the law enforcement”. Prior to his PhD study, he obtained two LL.M. degrees from University of Hamburg and China University of Political Science and Law respectively. He researches in mainly competition law and has published in journals including World Competition, Journal of Antitrust Enforcement, and Journal of Competition Law & Economics.
