Faina Milman-Sivan is an associate professor at the Law Faculty at the University of Haifa. Her research and publications focus on critical analysis of the international labor law regime, freedom of association and prison labor. She holds an L.LM and JSD from Columbia University Faculty of Law, and articled at the Israeli Supreme Court, with the former Chief Justice, Dorit Beinisch. She was a Global Houser Fellow at the NYU Faculty of Law (2013) and has received various research grants, including from the Israel Science Foundation, and Germany Israel Foundation (Young). She is co-editor of Global Justice and International Labor Rights (Cambridge University Press, 2016) (with Y. Dahan and H. Lerner), and the co-editor of the Law Journal’s “Labor, Society and Law” (with G. Mundlak).
