The Faculty of Law at the University of Haifa, a pioneer in the field of legal education and research in Israel, offers the most advanced interdisciplinary legal education in global legal studies. The curriculum provides familiarity with basic legal concepts and encourages reflection, creativity, curiosity, and an ability to grapple with actual and desirable legal rules through the use of scientific disciplines from various fields. The Faculty offers a range of joint programs with additional bachelor or master degrees, enabling students to receive a joint degree in law and the additional field. Our graduates have excellent and diverse legal capabilities, and many of them continue to advanced studies and professional careers in Israel and abroad. The Faculty has a dynamic and outstanding teaching staff, including graduates from the best universities in the world. Professional opportunities after graduation include positions for attorneys in the private, public, and industrial sectors, as well as placement in boards of directors and government ministries (such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Master’s Degree


The Faculty programs are committed to promoting, deepening, and catalyzing the graduates’ critical insights and legal knowledge and to positioning them in the vanguard of jurisprudents in Israel. The programs provide a profound familiarity with the complexities of law in the modern world, utilizing unique and challenging study frameworks. The programs reflect the multidisciplinary approach that is the hallmark of the Faculty. This is reflected in two spheres: in the content of many subjects relating to such fields as politics, sociology, economics, psychology, medicine, and so forth; and by enabling students to choose courses from other faculties at the University of Haifa. Students can chose between a general master’s degree and programs specializing in a specific field on the front line of legal practice and research. Students who meet the admission requirements may also be accepted to a thesis track in all the programs.


Employment options after graduation include positions for attorneys in the private, public, and industrial sectors, as well as teaching and research in academia.
